However faux leather is exceptionally hard wearing and highly suited to contract environments such as this. Many KOTHEA faux leathers have a Martindale rub test exceeding 100,000 rubs (some over 200, 000) – so very durable products that will last the test of time if suitably cared for and upholstered. ‘Real’ leather will be MUCH more of a problematic option both in terms of the initial cost AND the cost of care and maintenance.
