Spotlight on Collected Thoughts from the Design Bar
I’m not sure that I really like the end result. That’s probably my personal lack of taste. Nevertheless there is a great contrast of textures and colours in, what might be, a small space. Interesting.
Abigail Ahern on how to create a happy home with interiors
The article talks a bit about the pursuit of happiness. It seems to me that very many people are doing a lot of ‘pursuing’ and not a lot of ‘happiness’ing. I’m not so sure that interiors can make you happy can they? Maybe sometimes in a limited way. Generally, they give the facility/space/environment to be happy in.
Iris Apfel on One Kings Lane
Like the throw. Looks knitted/woolen? We have some great Cashmere Throws…the height of sensuous luxury.
Before photos…..adding accessories and life to this blank canvas!

What NOT To Say To An Interior Designer
Another thing would be “The budget’s unlimited, really”
Grey textured upholstery

Grey, textured upholstery looks wonderful on this Finn Juhl classic sofa. It has beautiful lines and contours – perhaps not quite ‘modern’ as we would define it these days but a great piece nevertheless. If you are upholstering YOUR sofa then look no further than KOTHEA’s many upholstery fabric – textured, plain, contact. We have a wide number of collections.
Crocodile faux leather

This Crocodile faux leather skin covered chair is striking. Great for high-end upholstery. The design is fairly classic but we think that the texture and pattern of the crocodile faux leather upholstery makes this piece really stand out. This comes Via Adrienne Rolka so a big thank to her on that. The gold / brown colouring, again, by itself is not unusual but the textures and finish take that to a new level.
KOTHEA faux leather for upholstery has some of the highest durability ratings in the UK. More on this blog and also here:Â https://www.kothea.com/faux-leather-upholstery.htmÂ
