This is a modern chair with a vintage look. You can compare it to some of the other, more classic designs we’ve showcased. I think you can see the difference. On a budget, I probably would find a place for it in my house a I quite like it. With no limits to my budget; maybe not.
These are clasically upholstered dining chairs from Bernard Rohne Mastercraft. We like the contrast of the purple upholstery and the gold. They are quite formally designed; I guess for more formal dining occasions so you have to respect where the design is coming from. Maybe a little too stark and angular for my own personal tastes, what do you think? Please feel free to tell me that I don’t know what I’m talking about !
This cream and brown upholstered faux leather seat has a very automotive feel about it. Beautiful design with flowing curves (you could add your own descriptive car metaphor) This is designed by the Dutch brand LeoLux and we think it’s great. Brmmm Brmmm.
KOTHEA upholstery faux leathers have some of the highest durability ratings in the UK and we have a wide colour palette with most collections available by the metre to the trade.
No prizes for spotting the inspiration for this novel upholstery idea. In case of the rare event that you had not spotted it…it is based on the petals of a flower. We love the fine, red upholstery using a delicate, red silk and cashmere upholstery velvet.
Is this a bench? Is this a plane. Not quite sure what it would be called really. Anyway, perhaps YOU know? We like it, whatever it is and are very impressed with the beautiful shade and tone of the purple upholstery in silk velvet.
The upholstery detail is great on this green velvet chaise upholstered by Taylor Llorente Furniture. We certainly love the unusually modern take on the classic chaise. The curves, the contours, the leg details…all good
We spotted this unusually shaped chair recently from LeeBroom. Simple lines; yet a different feel to the overall design. The beige silk Velvet upholstery goes well on the chair and the detail on the edges is ‘interesting’
We adore this striking blue velvet chaise from the fab.com website. Certainly a contemporary striking colour with a more classic and considered. KOTHEA upholstery velvets come in many exquisite qualities
Brown Silk Velvet Couch from Nigel Coates. This one might even have some of our KOTHEA upholstery velvet fabrics used in its construction as we have previously supplied Nigel Coates.
Hans Wegner 1960s ‘Ox Chair’. We love the beige faux leather upholstery and piping. Stark but comfy geometrical design
