Gold and mirrors from 1508 design. Great wall textures, colour scheme and details. The photographer has chosen what appears to be an expansive view of the appartment, it would be interesting to explore this space from many angles. It is probably an unusually shaped room, beautifully designed.

Anouska Hempel hallway – superb architecture and interior design. We normally present images with a significant fabric content and, yes, there is some present here but along with bathrooms and kitchens this is an area of a house often devoid of fabric. Anyway we love the architectural lines of the stairwell as well as the juxtaposition of that with the bannister design. Colours are perfect and the curves flow beautifully everywhere – from the stairs to the mirror to the log basket.

This visually stunning chandelier would probably not be the best centrepiece for most living rooms…there wouldn’t be that much room to manoeuvre around it for most of us!

Orange, Black and red colourful upholstery velvets from Annabel Hall Design (formerly of PrivateLives). Whilst this might not suit everyone’s individual taste (what does) we can only admire the way everything is brought together from the details of the wall image to consistency of circular imagery. Great.

A striking pink faux leather upholstered chair with some great details.

Well, if you are going to have a faux leather chair or stool you might as well get an elegant and unusually designed one like this.
The one shown is the Modern Mars Accent Chair by Zuo.

Ian Mankin have a nice grey velvet upholstered chair which they describe as coregent.
